Ran under the lawn mower

Well I got sick of all my long hair so earlier this week I waved goodbye to it all as it fell to the salon floor.
Until then, I can't remember when the last time was that my boofy mop had seen hide or hair of a hairdresser.

Napoleon Dynamite

Ok, so I'm a bit behind the times as far as watching movies go. I got to see Napoleon Dynamite last night and I have to say it's the weirdest but funniest thing I've ever seen.

 

In some ways, sadly I couldn't help but notice the similarities between me and Napleon... No fashion sense, dance moves to be highly ashamed of, not many friends, and generally un-cool.

 

Anyway he has some sayings in the movie which really cracked me up so if you're a Napoleon fan or just want to hear them, check out this  Napoleon Dynamite Soundboard  for a bit of a laugh.

Isobelle, moving house and more.

Since my last entry my cute little niece Isobelle Grace was born (My sister Emm's little bubby). Just scraping in at 6lbs she was a tiny little angel, born with lots of fluffy hair.
 
 
 

 
 
 
Rainey and I have moved house and now live right at the top of the hill in West Moonah. We love our new place because its got awesome views, a workshop underneath for Rainey and it's cosy.
It only takes Rainey 5 minutes to get to work too which is cool. I dont have any pictures of our place yet to post however.
 
Work is going ok. Plenty to do so keeping busy.
 
Bianca is 6 months pregnant so I'm looking forward to ANOTHER new neice or nephew in August.
Then I will be an Aunty 5 times over.
 
We're going to Brissie and the Gold Coast soon which will be awesome! I will finally get to see where my mum and brother live and Rainey will get to catch up with his car forum mates which will be a blast for him.

update

As per usual, not much exciting has happened in my life very recently. I'm just hanging in there waiting for my little sister Emm to have her bubby any day now! (and then my big sis Banc to have hers in August).

This weekend has been a good one for getting things done though I suppose. Finally washed my car. What do you know! It was white under all that dirt!

 

This weekend Nick put his new Oz Chrono's on his celica and they look pretty awesome. Being that he LOVES to photograph his car he took this picture of it.

We're going to Brissie and the Gold Coast in a couple of months which I'm really looking forward to. I love going places with Nick. And unless I get a renewed contract for my current job, I will be out of work in 3 weeks....not so good but I'm looking for other jobs now just in case. This Blog has becoming so boring. I should give up on it...

Update

Well its been a busy couple of weeks.
 
Most exitingly I found out this week that my big sister, Bianca, is having a baby!!!!!
That makes two pregnant sisters now, with my little sister Emma due to have her baby in the next coupld of months!
 
The new job is going ok. Can be very tiring (because it's monotonous and doesn't exercise my brain in anyway). The pay isn't too bad though.....well it is but it's better than being unemployed.

Today Nick and I went down to Carlton River to say a happy belated birthday to my Daddy. It was a nice visit and it was good to see their rennovations. I had tonnes of yummy lunch (Thanks Jenni!!).

I got a job!

 
 
Well this has been a really good week for me.
I've run into a friend I haven't seen for a very long time. That was really wonderful.
 
I also got a job!! I start my new job on Monday and I'm not nervous....well yet anyway.
I can't wait to see what the job is like.
